Weather you like it or not

Welcome to June, and what a fantastic start with this glorious sunshine which we have been blessed with.

Remember you sun worshipers that wearing a factor 30 will still get you a nice sun tan in fact a better one, because you won't have skin cancer.

Using no sunscreen will just enhance the % risk for skin cancer 5 fold, and for those of you out there who say "it won't happen to me" I would really beg to differ.

I lived in Australia for a while and worked at Estee Lauder as a skin care specialist - and the amount of people I met who had either had skin cancer or had got skin cancer really opened my eyes to the damage which is caused by ignorance.

I know that we live in Britain which is mainly wet, which is even more the reason you should wear some sun factor cream when the sun does finally come to us, as typical brits go they get out there in all there bare glory grabbing the rays as quickly as possible to get some colour on their skin in fear that we are not going to get any more this year.

And I know and appreciate that you are old enough and wrinkly enough (especially if you don't wear sun cream protection) to make your own decisions, but don't come crying to me or go crying to anyone else for that matter when the milk has been spilt when you had the opportunity to look after yourself.

Harsh words but true my dear friend.

So be responsible, and look after your skin while you still have some to look after.

Sunshine rays to you all.
